The return to Ghana began in the Spring of 2023 at the age of 20, having it been nearly 17 years since I was last there, where I was welcomed by family and new friends as though I had never left.
My birth country, the land of my mother and our ancestors, is a physical reminder of my strive for community belonging that is not so present in a city like London. Both London and Accra, however, do share the same hustle of chasing after your dreams, making a living out of it, and is fuelled by creativity.
